Mr Jack Green, Senior Waanyi and Garawa Cultural Advisor, visited CAEPR in mid October as a guest of the People on Country Project. 

While in Canberra, Jack presented a seminar on community-based land management in the southern Gulf of Carpentaria.  Jack was also a keynote speaker at the Amnesty International 50th Anniversary Change the World Conference in Brisbane on 6-8 October, where he spoke on ‘Indigenous Rights – A Sustainable Future for Homelands’.
