Crown-Indigenous Relations in Canada: Advancing Reconciliation, Recognizing Rights, and Respecting Indigenous Self-Determination

Last Thursday 25th July 2019, the Centre for Aboriginal Economic Policy Research (CAEPR) hosted a seminar by Mr Joe Wild, Senior Assistant Deputy Minister of Treaties and Aboriginal Government, Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada (CIRNAC) titled " Crown-Indigenous Relations in Canada: Advancing Reconciliation, Recognizing Rights, and Respecting Indigenous Self-Determination." Acccompanying Mr Wild were the Acting High Commissioner, Ms Isabelle Martin, and Ms Tessa Button, Policy Adviser, CIRNAC. Mr Wild was introduced to a packed room by Professor Tony Dreise, Director of the Centre of Aboriginal Economic Policy Research.
