The Macquarie Atlas of Indigenous Australia Seminar

The Macquarie Atlas of Indigenous Australia Seminar
Tuesday 3 September 2019

Bill Arthur and Frances Morphy delivered a seminar on the Macquarie Atlas of Indigenous Australia to a packed crowd on the 28th of August.

The edition was first announced in 2017. With the Centre for Aboriginal Economic Policy Research (CAEPR) supporting this two-year project, the Atlas is now completed.

The seminar included discussion on the genesis and value of the initial model, the changes – in content, perspective and structure – made for Atlas 2, and consider how, and in what ways, the issue might be further adapted for a third edition (Atlas 3).

The Atlas has been recognised as an astonishing achievement for the Australian National University (ANU).

The Macquarie Atlas of Indigenous Australia is due to launch on Tuesday 17 September.

It is now available for purchase on amazon.
